The Ridged Collection by Pottery Pots is made of Ficonstone, a combination of Fiberglass, cement, sand and finely ground stone. This planter is offered in muted grey and is available in one size with a simple design that makes them perfect for almost any environment. Ancient cultures such as the Incas and Egyptians used symbols such as flowers and butterflies to represent beauty. For Pottery Pots, the Ridged Collection is just such a symbol of beauty. The classical round shapes combined with a delicate ribbed surface make the Ridge design sturdy but elegant classics. The modern planters for indoors and outdoors are available in different shapes and sizes. To view the entire collection of planters, please download the Pottery Pots Catalog or contact us to discuss options and availability.

Make sure that the soil cannot clog the drainage hole. This can be done by laying mesh on the bottom. So the water can run off and there is no risk that the planter breaks or ruptures in frost. Next, fill 1/3 of the planter with Hydro grains. This allows for better water management in the planter so that your plants grow better. Then fill the planter with potting soil. You can choose to sprinkle a layer of Hydro grains on the potting soil. This has a decorative effect and ensures that the top layer of the potting soil will dry out less rapidly.
