Description
Perfect for a small patio, under a poolside cabana, or at the cabin, the Bentintoshape 30" Round Fire Pit will keep you cozy for hours in the chilly evenings. This unit is durable for all-season use thanks to its 11 Gauge Cor-Ten steel construction. The steel arrives unweathered and naturally weathers over time, creating a rustic patina unique to your fire pit. The optional top converts the fire pit to an industrial-chic-looking 30" cocktail table.
There are several configurations available to suit your firepit needs. You can choose between a campfire-style fire pit that only burns wood logs. Otherwise, you can upgrade to a gas ring that hooks to an external 20 lbs Liquid Propane tank or a Natural Gas line where you can use ceramic logs, lava rocks, or fire glass. With a maximum of 65,000 BTUs of heat output, you can enjoy the warmth of flickering flames for hours.
Options available:
Wood Burning: Ready to use on standard logs. The media grate is positioned 5" from the bottom of the fire bowl.
Natural Gas or Liquid Propane Gas Burner Kit: Good for ceramic logs or burning wooden logs with gas. The media grate is 5" from the fire bowl bottom with an 18" stainless steel double concentric fire ring below the grate.
Fire Glass or Lava Rock Gas Burner Kit: Fill the fire bowl with either 30 lbs of lava rock or 40 lbs of fire glass (sold separately) just above the fire ring. The media grate is 4" from the fire bowl top with an 18" stainless steel double concentric fire ring above the grate. The gas defuses through the grate and ignites at the surface.
Note: You should only place gas fire pits on a wood deck with a heat and flame barrier. Never place a wood-burning fire pit on a wooden deck.

Product Protection
Your Cor-Ten steel fire pit will arrive in the "unweathered" condition. You may see spots or weld marks, shinny spots or shinny grind marks on the fire pit. During the weathering process, these spots and marks will disappear. The Weathering process depends on humidity. On average, the Cor-Ten steel fire pit will fully weather in about 3 months. During the weathering process, your Cor-Ten steel fire pit may leach rust onto the surface it sits on. It is recommended that you protect any light colored surface during the weathering process.
You do not need to do anything to the Cor-Ten steel to maintain it's finish. If you would like to smooth out the weathered surfaces, you can use a Scotch Brite pad to gently rub the steel. This will cause some of the rust barrier to break off and fall to the ground. Be sure to thoroughly clean the ground surface after this process. You can use water to clean the surfaces after this process.
Do not get water into any of the burner components. Water in the burner components can cause dangerous back pressure. If you think there is water in the burner components, call a licensed technician to check the burner before use.
Fire Pit with Gas Option
Fire pits should be inspected before initial use and inspected and cleaned at least annually by a qualified field service person. Periodically remove the logs, glass or lava rock and examine the burner. If dirty, clean with a soft brush. Also, examine the area around the Propane/Air Mixer. Any dirt or lint in this area should be removed. This will ensure long life and trouble free operation. When the fire pit is put back in service, check the burner flame patterns; it is imperative that the burner flame characteristics are steady, not lifting or floating. Periodically check the hose connecting the LP gas cylinder to ensure it is not damaged in any way. While the fire pit is not in use, it should be covered to protect it from weather and other adverse elements. Not protecting the fire pit could result in a void of the warranty.
Carbon (soot) may build up on the surfaces of the logs with heavy use. This is more likely to occur when using LP gas. The soot should be cleaned off the surface of the logs periodically to prevent excessive buildup. To clean the logs, be sure the fire is out, the gas supply is turned off and the logs are cool to the touch. The soot can then be brushed off with a dry bristle brush or cloth. Logs can be damaged if mishandled. Dispose of soot and cleaning materials properly. Keep away from clothing, pets and outdoor furniture.

Warranty
Bentintoshape LLC warrants to the original Customer that the Bentintoshape product(s) which the Customer received this warranty was designed, developed and/or fabricated using all due reasonable commercial care and good manufacturing practices. Bentintoshape's product(s) shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for 365 days from date of shipment. Bentintoshape's sole obligation under this warranty is to repair or replace the product, at Bentintoshape's option. Bentintoshape must be notified in writing of any claim under this warranty within 30-days of any claimed lack of conformity of the product(s). Returns & Exchanges
With proof of purchase, you may return or exchange an eligible item within 30 days of delivery. All returns must be in original condition and packaging. We cannot accept returns for items that have been opened, assembled, altered, used or made to order. AuthenTEAK does not offer free returns and the customer is responsible for all costs associated with returning merchandise. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. If you choose to exchange an eligible item, a portion of the restocking fee may be waived.
If the order was shipped and/or delivered at no charge—including any free White-Glove promotions—the cost of that shipping and/or delivery service will be deducted from any eligible refunds.
All refunds must include a Return Authorization (RA) number. To obtain an RA number and process your refund, please complete the form below. Refunds are processed within one week of receipt and inspection of merchandise.
