Also known as center-pole umbrellas, market umbrellas feature a central pole that supports the canopy. These are the most common types of umbrellas and work well with dining tables or placed between a pair of chaise loungers.
How to open a cantilever umbrella or market umbrella
Opening cantilever and market umbrellas is fairly straightforward. It’s always a good idea to double-check manufacturer instructions. Make sure your umbrella is safely anchored in an umbrella base or mount. Generally, you’ll need to release the locking mechanism at the base of the pole first.
