Sunbrella Rain is a product offered by Sunbrella that enhances its already high-performing outdoor fabric by adding an internal barrier, making it waterproof. Standard Sunbrella fabric is water-resistant, so it sheds light rain and splashes, but prolonged exposure or heavy downpours can eventually soak through to the cushion underneath. With Rain technology, water beads up and rolls off the surface instead of reaching the foam, so your cushions dry faster and are ready to use sooner after a storm. The barrier is also breathable, letting trapped moisture escape and helping prevent mildew from building up inside the cushion. Sunbrella Rain keeps the same soft hand, fade resistance, and easy cleaning that regular Sunbrella is known for, which makes it a great choice for uncovered patios, poolside seating, and other fully exposed spaces. It is available in a wide range of colors, patterns, and styles, but not all Sunbrella fabrics can be purchased with Rain technology.
