Cane-line's beautiful Core 83" outdoor table is a modern teak wooden table. The frame is made of aluminum and the table top consists of teak wood slats. Cane-line teak is approved and cultivated according to the SVLK certification system. You can keep the Core table untreated, in which case the table will eventually get a nice grey patina and only require minimal cleaning. Alternatively, the table top can be cleaned and oiled with a suitable teak oil. Depending on the climate, the table needs to be oiled at least twice a year.

To preserve the original unique teak color and maintain the fine teak wood, we recommend to use Cane-line Teak Care products. Our care products help to preserve the nice and warm golden-brown color of your teak furniture.

Core armchair is a timeless design, made of durable materials that has a long lifespan. Due to the modern and simple design, the chair fits in most places. The uniqueness of this series is that none of the furniture needs cushions as they are made from the soft and strong Cane-line AirTouch fabric, which is easy to clean and requires only a minimal of maintenance. The frame of the Core chair is made of weather resistant powder coated aluminum so that it can be used inside as well as outside. The chair is stackable and easy to store.

Teak Properties
Cane-line teak furniture is made from WWF-GFTN certified production in Indonesia. This is a guarantee that the teak production supports responsible forest management. Teak is a hardwood that is ideal for outdoor use due to its high oil content. Our teak furniture is delivered untreated. If the furniture remains untreated, the teakwood will patina over time and turn pale grey color. If you wish to retain the original golden color, we recommend treating teak furniture with a recommended teak sealant. Please note that teakwood is a natural product and therefore continues to change. This means that small cracks can develop due to drying and that slats can warp slightly.

Teak Cleaning
If you wish to retain the golden color, the furniture must be treated with teak sealant before use and on a regular basis. How often treatment is needed depends on the climate and whether the furniture is placed in a sheltered position, for example under a roof. As a general rule, teak tabletops should be cleaned and treated at least a couple of times a year.

If your teak furniture becomes silvery-grey or black on the surface, it can be cleaned with a recommended teak cleaner. After cleaning and rinsing thoroughly with water, allow the furniture to dry. When the furniture is completely dry, it is ready to be treated with teak sealant. If the furniture has been exposed to the elements over an extended period of time and developed patina, it may be necessary to sand it down before cleaning and treating it.

Clean daily with a moist cloth, water and washing-up liquid. Alternatively, use a soap flake solution to saturate the wood so that the furniture does not get stain as easily. You can also use a lukewarm cloth or a soft sponge for cleaning of your teak furniture.

Teak Storing
There are several ways to properly store your furniture in autumn and winter months for maximum protection and to make spring cleaning easier.
1) It is best to store your furniture on a covered terrace, patio or carport, where it is protected from the elements.
2) Alternatively, it can be left outside under a furniture cover. Please note, however, that condensation can form under the furniture cover, which can cause mold and mildew. Therefore, make sure to lift the cover away from the furniture to ensure proper air circulation and minimize condensation.

RESIDENTIAL

Cane-line offers a 2 year warranty on all frames and 2 years on all fibers, tabletops (excluding glass), against any manufacturing defect, which affects their suitability for use. Parasols, glass tops and accessories including but limited to, cushions, covers are warranted with 1 year. All warranties are from the date of purchase. The warranty applies to normal conditions of use, maintenance and storage and does not apply to faults or imperfections caused by misuse, alterations, accidents, negligence, the passing of time or normal wear and tear. Circumstances not covered by this warranty, but not limited to are, scratches or marks resulting from use, shade of colors, small cracks in fiber concrete tops etc.. The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of those products or parts of products, which Cane-line accepts to be defectively manufactured during the warranty period, at no cost to the customer. Should a product have been discontinued, Cane-line will replace with a similar and comparable product. Original invoice and receipt of purchase with clearly displayed purchase date accompanied with proper photo documentation, is required in order to treat any claim for warranty. Any claim must be submitted through the original reseller.
