This Slim Pool Chaise is a heavy mono-block chaise. If you want to use on the pool ledge it should be good in up to 10"-10.5" water. It's a mono-block construction and weighs 33 lbs. with no air inside the frame. However, when no person is on the chaise, the footrest side may float depending on the height of the water.
When not in use we recommend that you take the chaises out of the water to extend the lifespan of the material. When left in pool water over 2 years, a water mark and a degradation and chalking of the submerged parts of the frame should be assumed. This is in reaction to the magnifying effect of UV rays and chemicals in the pool water, including suntan oils and should be expected. Regular hosing down with fresh water is highly recommended to extend the life of your product.
