A certified gas technician MUST install all units. If there are any issues with the burner or gas line, a certified technician should complete the service work to comply with local installation and service codes.

Caution: Do not place wet lava rock on a fire; allow it to dry completely before burning. Though rare, wet lava rock could crack or pop out when it becomes hot.

The Dekko fire pit operates on either Natural Gas (NG), Liquid Propane (LP) with the use of the conversion kit sold separately, or Electronic Start Ignition. When using an LP tank, the tank will NOT fit inside the unit. NG and LP burners have a maximum heat output of 60,000 BTUs, while the Electric Start Ignition maxes out at 140,000. The electronic ignition power cord is 66" long. The burner is made of high-quality materials with high efficiency, high heat output, long-lasting, and CSA/UL approved.

Lighting the fire pit is easy, simply hold a barbeque lighter or match over the burner's center while turning the key valve to ignite and adjust the flame. For electric systems, a remote is used to operate the fire pit. The match-lit version offers adjustable output, whereas the electronic ignition operates in On or Off mode only.

Dekko Fire Pits are compatible with any Hearth Product Controls Outdoor Rated Timers, which allow you to control your fire pit with an automatic shut-off timer.

The table top lid is available in a single powder coat finish, closest to Ash in color, and is designed to complement all fire pit finishes.

DEKKO concrete fire pits can withstand all weather conditions and be left outside year round. Hairline cracks may appear over time due to extreme weather conditions, but they do not impact the integrity or longevity of the fire pit. Protective covers are recommended for protecting the burner from debris and cracks from forming during winter months.
