A certified gas technician MUST install all units. If there are any issues with the burner or gas line, a certified technician should complete the service work to comply with local installation and service codes.

Caution: Do not place wet lava rock on a fire; allow it to dry completely before burning. Though rare, wet lava rock could crack or pop out when it becomes hot.

Utilize the manual key valve to control the gas flow and light with a barbeque lighter or match. This durable Sonoma fire pit can be converted from natural gas to liquid propane with the use of the conversion kit sold separately (65,000 BTUs). This fire pit includes a chrome on/off key, or you can upgrade to an Electric Start Ignition (150,000 BTUs). When using an LP tank, the tank will NOT fit inside the unit.

The electronic ignition power cord is 66" long. The burner is made of high-quality materials with high efficiency, high heat output, long-lasting, and CSA/UL approved.  All liquid propane units include a 12' gas line. The match-lit version offers adjustable output, whereas the electronic ignition operates in On or Off mode only.

Hairline cracks may appear over time due to extreme weather conditions, but they do not impact the integrity or longevity of the fire pit. DEKKO recommends a protective cover to shield the burner from debris and to prevent cracks from forming during the winter months.

Dekko Fire Pits are compatible with any Hearth Product Controls Outdoor Rated Timers, which allow you to control your fire pit with an automatic shut-off timer.
