It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure routine inspection of any product being used in a commercial setting and to remove any product that shows excessive wear or degraded functionality. The POVL Outdoor Calera 83.5" - 111" Teak Extending Rectangular Dining Table offers versatility and classic charm to most outdoor spaces. This expertly crafted table, made of sustainable Grade A teak from Indonesian plantations, measures 40” wide x 83.5” long, and expands to 111” in length. To expand the table, unfold the self-storing butterfly leaf from the underside and you will have seating capacity for 10-12 people in less than 60 seconds. The narrow positioning of the table legs provides a touch of modern styling in a classic teak design while also ensuring that everyone will have a comfortable seat at the table. This table accommodates up to a 2” umbrella pole, which is functional in both the open and closed positions. If not using an umbrella, the table comes standard with a teak cap to cover the opening. If you are using an umbrella with a 1.5” pole, select the optional stainless steel reducer ring to ensure a proper fit. Teak Cleaning & Care
Well-made teak furniture does not require any maintenance to remain sturdy and in good shape, even when it is kept outdoors and exposed to the weather. However, a periodic cleaning is recommended to eliminate dirt build-up and increase longevity. To clean outdoor teak furniture, scrub your wet furniture using a soft bristle brush and warm soapy water. When finished, rinse the entire surface with more fresh water to remove any remaining cleaning residue. For removing tough stains, use Golden Care Teak Cleaner in conjunction with some light sanding. Note - using a Teak Cleaner and/or light sanding will gently remove the top surface sliver-grey patina of the wood, restoring the furniture to a golden-brown color.

To protect teak surfaces from staining and to help maintain the sliver-grey patina on weathered teak, we recommend using Golden Care Teak Shield, which repels moisture and minimizes staining. To help maintain the honey-brown look of new teak furniture, apply Golden Care Teak Protector to all exposed surfaces after letting the furniture sit outside for approximately 10 days. Note - applying Golden Care Teak Protector is about managing the cosmetic appearance and does not affect the longevity of the furniture.

Stainless Steel Cleaning and Care
Stainless steel is a material of great purity and thanks to its high chromium content, it does not oxidize. Metal furniture, however, can attract dirt and stains and therefore needs periodic cleaning. To clean stainless steel furniture, wipe the frame with a soft cloth or sponge containing a mix of warm fresh water and mild detergent. Always wipe with the direction of the grain of steel, not across. For more stubborn stains or brown surface spots, replace the above-mentioned cloth/sponge with a fine grit non-abrasive Scotchbrite pad. Never use abrasive cleaners or cloths.

POVL Outdoor warrants their Teak, Aluminum, Stainless-Steel and Aluminum furniture for a period of 10 years for residential use and 3 years for commercial use to be free from defective materials and workmanship.  Wicker and Rope furniture is warranted for a period of 5 years for residential use and 3 years for commercial use. All cushion and sling construction have a warranty of 2 years against defects. Protective covers have a warranty of 5 years against defects. Sunbrella fabric has a 5 year warranty against fading provided by Glen Raven Mills.  Cushions should be cleaned regularly to prevent the build-up of dirt and other organic matter which can become imbedded in the fabric and promote the growth of mold or mildew.

These warranties do not apply to the natural aging process and do not cover material specific expected issues like cracks (checking) that appear when Teak is exposed to the elements so long as they do not affect the structural integrity of the furniture. These warranties also do not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, alterations to the original product, or natural wear and tear.
