Sunbrella Sheer and Shadow Fabrics are appropriate for draperies and gazebos and other applications where a soft and luxurious effect is desired. These all-weather drapery fabrics are ideal for decorative or architectural effects. Sunbrella Sheer and Shadow Fabrics are made of 100% solution-dyed acrylic yet are not suitable for cushions, umbrellas or upholstery applications. Sunbrella Sheers are a lighter weight fabric when compared to Sunbrella Shadow fabrics. One of the best ways to keep outdoor fabrics looking nice and to delay deep or vigorous cleaning is to properly maintain the fabric. This can be accomplished by simply brushing off dirt before it becomes embedded in the fabrics, wiping up spills as soon as they occur or spot cleaning soon after stains occur.
