The Outdoor PlusSierra 20" Round Cor-Ten Steel Planter

The Sierra Planter from The Outdoor Plus is a rustic-looking 20"-tall round planter with an angled frame that adds beauty to your outdoor space. The 30"-wide planter, with an 18" base, is made from Cor-Ten Steel, a high-strength steel with high weathering resistance. The material eliminates the need to paint and provides a unique and aesthetically-pleasing look while providing great rust protection. Cor-Ten Steel has a weather resistance of four to eight times that of ordinary steel.

Each Cor-Ten Steel planter from The Outdoor Plus is aged to look around 1 month of patina, which is a bright yellow-orange color. Over time, the patina will continue into a dark mocha color. Add a clear coat or protective paint to the surface if you want to stop the patina process. Cor-Ten Steel will have a residual rust-like layer, and it is recommended not to sit or touch the material. The planter's material may stain your patio, but it can be easily power-washed away with water.
