I needed a special part for my umbrella base and not only did they have the part but they checked to make sure it was the right one. They sent it from Atlanta and arrived in Houston two days later. Overall great experience.
Bought this to replace another stem as the thread on the original stem had worn down after only 2 summer seasons. Turns out the thread on the (very expensive) 100 pound base was also eroded so replacing the stem was a pointless. I companies and customer service at Treasure Garden and AuthenTeak were both unhelpful and clearly don’t stand by this product. I won’t be buying anymore of their products and I would recommend avoiding.
reply from AuthenTEAKWe believe the problem is not with our product, but rather that that it does not match the brand/model of your existing poor quality umbrella base that was previously purchased somewhere else. The product page for our 2" stem for a classic 50 lb. base mentions that this stem is intended for use with a specific Treasure Garden base, of which you do not own. Our recorded notes, dated July 5th, show that we offered to take stem back.
