Description

Embrace the outdoors in the modern appearance of the Bentintoshape 35" Square Fire Pit. The finish is from a sophisticated-looking, weather-resistant stainless steel that lasts all year. The optional lid converts your fire pit to a side table that complements your outdoor furniture set.

There are several configurations available to suit your firepit needs. You can choose between a campfire-style fire pit that only burns wood logs. Otherwise, you can upgrade to a gas ring that hooks externally to a 20 lbs Liquid Propane tank or a Natural Gas line where you can use ceramic logs, lava rocks, or fire glass. The Hidden Liquid Propane Tank option sits your tank underneath the unit and is accessible through the hinged side door. With a maximum of 75,000 BTUs of heat output, you can cozy up near the vibrant flames for hours. The Liquid Propane hook-up will last 8 to 14 hours, depending on the heat output.

Options available:

Wood Burning: Ready to use on standard logs. The media grate is 5" from the bottom of the fire bowl. Fire bowl dimensions: 25" x 25" x 14"

Natural Gas or Liquid Propane Gas Burner Kit: Good for ceramic logs or burning wooden logs with gas. The media grate is 5" from the fire bowl's top, and the 24" stainless steel concentric fire ring is under the grate.

Fire Glass or Lava Rock Gas Burner Kit: Fill the fire bowl with either 80 lbs of fire glass or 50 lbs of lava rock (sold separately). The media grate is 4" from the fire bowl's top with an 18" stainless steel double concentric burner ring under the grate. The gas defuses through the media grate and ignites at the surface.

Note: You should only place gas fire pits on a wood deck with a heat and flame barrier.

Please be aware of any local ordinances that may restrict or govern the use of this product before purchasing.

Fire glass and lava rock sold with this product are from American Fire Glass and are not for wood-burning systems.

Product Protection

A stainless steel fire pit needs little maintenance: only the initial set-up and the occasional cleaning. Stainless steel is resistant to weather damage and will usually not rust. It may need to be cleaned periodically, as it may build up soot and ash from fires inside.

Do not get water into any of the burner components. Water in the burner components can cause dangerous back pressure. If you think there is water in the burner components, call a licensed technician to check the burner before use.

Fire Pit with Gas Option
Fire pits should be inspected before initial use and inspected and cleaned at least annually by a qualified field service person. Periodically remove the logs, glass or lava rock and examine the burner. If dirty, clean with a soft brush. Also, examine the area around the Propane/Air Mixer. Any dirt or lint in this area should be removed. This will ensure long life and trouble free operation. When the fire pit is put back in service, check the burner flame patterns; it is imperative that the burner flame characteristics are steady, not lifting or floating. Periodically check the hose connecting the LP gas cylinder to ensure it is not damaged in any way. While the fire pit is not in use, it should be covered to protect it from weather and other adverse elements. Not protecting the fire pit could result in a void of the warranty.

Carbon (soot) may build up on the surfaces of the logs with heavy use. This is more likely to occur when using LP gas. The soot should be cleaned off the surface of the logs periodically to prevent excessive buildup. To clean the logs, be sure the fire is out, the gas supply is turned off and the logs are cool to the touch. The soot can then be brushed off with a dry bristle brush or cloth. Logs can be damaged if mishandled. Dispose of soot and cleaning materials properly. Keep away from clothing, pets and outdoor furniture.
