Description
Crisp, cool evenings are no match to the Bentintoshape 38" Hidden Tank Fire Pit. The 11 Gauge Cor-Ten steel construction arrives unweathered and has a surface that naturally weathers over time, giving a rustic patina unique to your fire pit. The optional top converts the unit to a rugged, modern-looking 38" side table that pairs well with any deep seating outdoor furniture set.
This fire pit fits a 20 lbs Liquid Propane tank under the unit accessible through a hinged side door. With a maximum of 75,000 BTUs of heat output, you can cozy up near the dancing flames for hours. Depending on your heat output, a single tank can burn for 8 to 14 hours.
A tank regulator, key valve, key, stainless steel no whistle flex line, and a 24" burner ring are included. You can fill this fire pit with 80 lbs of fire glass or 50 lbs of lava rock which sits just above the gas ring (sold separately).
Note: You should only place gas fire pits on a wood deck with a heat and flame barrier.

Product Protection
Your Cor-Ten steel fire pit will arrive in the "unweathered" condition. You may see spots or weld marks, shinny spots or shinny grind marks on the fire pit. During the weathering process, these spots and marks will disappear. The Weathering process depends on humidity. On average, the Cor-Ten steel fire pit will fully weather in about 3 months. During the weathering process, your Cor-Ten steel fire pit may leach rust onto the surface it sits on. It is recommended that you protect any light colored surface during the weathering process.
You do not need to do anything to the Cor-Ten steel to maintain it's finish. If you would like to smooth out the weathered surfaces, you can use a Scotch Brite pad to gently rub the steel. This will cause some of the rust barrier to break off and fall to the ground. Be sure to thoroughly clean the ground surface after this process. You can use water to clean the surfaces after this process.
Do not get water into any of the burner components. Water in the burner components can cause dangerous back pressure. If you think there is water in the burner components, call a licensed technician to check the burner before use.
Fire Pit with Gas Option
Fire pits should be inspected before initial use and inspected and cleaned at least annually by a qualified field service person. Periodically remove the logs, glass or lava rock and examine the burner. If dirty, clean with a soft brush. Also, examine the area around the Propane/Air Mixer. Any dirt or lint in this area should be removed. This will ensure long life and trouble free operation. When the fire pit is put back in service, check the burner flame patterns; it is imperative that the burner flame characteristics are steady, not lifting or floating. Periodically check the hose connecting the LP gas cylinder to ensure it is not damaged in any way. While the fire pit is not in use, it should be covered to protect it from weather and other adverse elements. Not protecting the fire pit could result in a void of the warranty.
Carbon (soot) may build up on the surfaces of the logs with heavy use. This is more likely to occur when using LP gas. The soot should be cleaned off the surface of the logs periodically to prevent excessive buildup. To clean the logs, be sure the fire is out, the gas supply is turned off and the logs are cool to the touch. The soot can then be brushed off with a dry bristle brush or cloth. Logs can be damaged if mishandled. Dispose of soot and cleaning materials properly. Keep away from clothing, pets and outdoor furniture.

Warranty
Bentintoshape LLC warrants to the original Customer that the Bentintoshape product(s) which the Customer received this warranty was designed, developed and/or fabricated using all due reasonable commercial care and good manufacturing practices. Bentintoshape's product(s) shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for 365 days from date of shipment. Bentintoshape's sole obligation under this warranty is to repair or replace the product, at Bentintoshape's option. Bentintoshape must be notified in writing of any claim under this warranty within 30-days of any claimed lack of conformity of the product(s). Returns & Exchanges
With proof of purchase, you may return or exchange an eligible item within 30 days of delivery. All returns must be in original condition and packaging. We cannot accept returns for items that have been opened, assembled, altered, used or made to order. AuthenTEAK does not offer free returns and the customer is responsible for all costs associated with returning merchandise. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. If you choose to exchange an eligible item, a portion of the restocking fee may be waived.
If the order was shipped and/or delivered at no charge—including any free White-Glove promotions—the cost of that shipping and/or delivery service will be deducted from any eligible refunds.
All refunds must include a Return Authorization (RA) number. To obtain an RA number and process your refund, please complete the form below. Refunds are processed within one week of receipt and inspection of merchandise.
