Description
The Bernhardt Exteriors Ibiza Teak Lounge Chair showcases a sleek, modern teak frame that's complemented with cushions in performance fabric. Seat is wide and supportive, providing a generous seating area. A unique panel on the back is a surprising detail, made with twisted abaca all-weather wicker. It's an elevated lounge chair design that offers a fresh take on outdoor seating.
Product Protection
Teak
Bernhardt Exteriors' teak furniture has a hand-applied polyurethane finish, giving each piece an aged appearance. Like natural teak, the finished teak will slowly change into the natural silvery color of patina. Although each piece is finished, they still require cleaning and maintenance.
Cleaning
Teak can be cleaned using a mild soap and water solution, applied with a soft cloth or brush. Rinse thoroughly.
For upholstered seating, occasionally vacuum fabrics to remove all dirt and debris before it becomes embedded in the fabric. Blot or mist with a warm water and mild detergent solution for light cleaning. Avoid over-saturation, and allow to dry thoroughly. For stubborn stains, mold, and mildew, you may use a solution of 30 parts lukewarm water to 1 part liquid bleach. If extensive cleaning is necessary, please contact a professional.
Care
A teak shield is recommended to prevent water, moisture, and food stains from penetrating the wood. Imperfections, such as hair-line cracks, are natural to the teak aging process. Cover or store indoors during inclement weather, or when not in use. Always ensure your furniture and fabrics are clean and dry before storing.
