Description
Simple and elegant, the Bernhardt Exteriors' Madura Teak Bench reflects a modern sensibility and an Asian-inspired form. Canted legs support a rectangular bench seat with open slats in the center, allowing light and air to pass through. Made from carbonized teak with a Smoked Truffle finish, the solid frame is naturally durable and water-resistant, growing more beautiful as the years pass. Expect natural variations in each piece do to the uniqueness of the wood grain slices on top.
Product Protection
Teak
Bernhardt Exteriors' teak furniture has a hand-applied polyurethane finish, giving each piece an aged appearance. Like natural teak, the finished teak will slowly change into the natural silvery color of patina. Although each piece is finished, they still require cleaning and maintenance.
Cleaning
Clean using a mild soap and water solution, applied with a soft cloth or brush. Rinse thoroughly.
Care
A teak shield is recommended to prevent water, moisture, and food stains from penetrating the wood. Imperfections, such as hair-line cracks, are natural to the teak aging process. Cover or store indoors during inclement weather, or when not in use.
