Prevent soil from obstructing the drainage hole by laying mesh on the bottom and filling the planter ⅓ of the way with hydro grains. Fill the planter with potting soil and, if desired, top it with more hydro grains to preserve moisture.

Made of premium fiberglass, the Capital Garden Grosvenor Window Box has a smooth profile with classic edge details. It will complement traditional and contemporary settings in homes or commercial locations. Fiberglass window boxes are weather resistant, won't crack or chip, and are frost resistant. This window box does not have drainage holes, but we can provide them upon request. This planter is shown in a Faux Lead finish, but this planter is stocked and priced for the Antique Faux Lead finish for quick shipping. The Antique Faux Lead finish has more of a washed-out white look as shown on the Capital Garden Grosvenor Planters.
Product Protection
A wonderfully tough and versatile material, fiberglass is maintenance free and light in weight. Completely frost-proof and non-corrosive, it is superior to terracotta, stone and even some metals and is ideal for use inside and out. None of our finishes are painted surfaces therefore they cannot chip or flake off revealing a different color below.
