Showroom Sales & Design

13 year old West Midtown furniture company is growing again and looking to hire a new seasoned salesperson that is highly motivated, creative, dependable and focused, with an exceptional attention to detail for the position of Showroom Sales and Design. The primary responsibility of this opportunity will be to work in a team environment, providing customer service and product education to our clientele (retail clients and Interior Designers). A secondary responsibility will be to merchandise and maintain the look of the showroom in accordance with brand standards. The ideal candidate must be confident in their ability to professionally communicate extensive product knowledge in both verbal and written form.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage clients regarding their project(s) and assist with decision making process
  • Showroom merchandising
  • Updating showroom signage such as price tags and table tents (infrequent)

  • Perform other general office work (infrequent)
  • Field incoming phone calls and provide sales support/customer service

Requirements

  • Previous luxury retail furniture store or related field experience (2+ years)

  • Excellent Computer Skills - Efficient Typing, Word, Excel; QuickBooks proficiency is ideal!

Showroom Internship

We are currently seeking seasonal help in our showroom assisting both our full-time sales staff/designers and our customers. Responsibilities include fulfilling fabric swatch orders, the creation of inspiration boards, space planning and merchandising. This paid, hourly position is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in the furniture or outdoor design industry and may be used for internship credits if needed.

Other responsibilities based on skills may include client site visits, taking location photography, and updating store signage.

Administrative Assistant

Growing 12-year old Atlanta Luxury Furniture company is seeking an Administrative Assistant to help grow and advance our customer’s experience. This is an important support role within the company. You will hold a wide range of responsibilities.

We are looking for a highly-motivated team player who demonstrates initiative and independence, a career minded individual with a positive attitude. The ideal candidate should possess superior analytical skills, have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational skills with attention to detail. This full-time position requires great time management skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment. Must be self-motivated. Candidate must have excellent computer skills, especially Office Suite. Proficiency in QuickBooks would be a strong advantage!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide backup support for company operations (order/data entry, review order confirmations, enter shipment tracking, filing)
  • Perform data entry and information verification for all functions pertaining to orders, products, price changes, and customer information updates.
  • Strong communication skills - demonstrate impeccable phone etiquette when screening and directing telephone calls for the Sales Team Members

Requirements:

  • 2 year college minimum, 4 year degree preferred
  • 2 years administrative experience with national retailers highly recommended

Front End Web Developer

AuthenTEAK, a luxury outdoor furniture retailer, is looking to grow it’s digital team with a skilled Front End Wed Developer who will work closely with the team to develop and execute strategies to build website and cart functionality, improve efficiencies, and serve as the technical subject matter expert.

This full-time salaried position is in Atlanta and requires living locally. The candidate will work directly with leadership and be an integral part of our e-commerce team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop AuthenTEAK’s website features and functions utilizing industry leading best practices in technology, features, performance and scalability
  • Lead collaboration with business stakeholders, product management, UX, and technology vendors as part of cross-functional development team to clarify requirements and use cases for system enhancements
  • Participate in emergency response to production problems
  • Experience with retail and/or eCommerce
  • Possess a strong understanding of both waterfall and agile software development lifecycle
  • Adhere to established Problem and Change management procedures
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, be a proficient problem solver, and acquire new skills quickly and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience is required
  • 2+ years’ experience in a multi-tier web application architecture is expected; experience in Big Commerce Platform is a significant plus
  • Experience in multiple languages and frameworks; BigCommerce (Node.js), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SASS
  • Understand industry trends and champion modern tools, frameworks and practices
  • Strong design, analytical, and communication skills are required
  • Possess a strong knowledge of code standards and best practices
  • Develop design patterns and apply patterns to business requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact effectively with a variety of people. Present a professional, competent, and confident image in dealing with people.

Ecommerce Data Specialist

AuthenTEAK, a luxury outdoor furniture retailer, is looking to grow it’s digital team with a skilled E-Commerce Data Specialist. This position will be primarily work with complex Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to add, remove and update products through various digital sales channels.

This full-time salaried position is in Atlanta and requires living locally. The candidate will work directly with leadership and be an integral part of our e-commerce team.

Responsibilities:

  • Spreadsheet wizard with 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in online E-Commerce systems (Big Commerce platform experience a major plus!), data management, process analysis and improvement
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve for ongoing operational needs as they arise, including product alignment, product availability, etc
  • Identify, escalate and resolve data management issues
  • Document, communicate, and recommend changes for data management business rule gaps

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of related data management experience
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Ability to meet project deadlines
