Showroom Sales & Design

15 year old West Midtown furniture company is growing again and looking to hire a new seasoned salesperson that is highly motivated, creative, dependable and focused, with an exceptional attention to detail for the position of Showroom Sales and Design. The primary responsibility of this opportunity will be to work in a team environment, providing customer service and product education to our clientele (retail clients and Interior Designers). A secondary responsibility will be to merchandise and maintain the look of the showroom in accordance with brand standards. The ideal candidate must be confident in their ability to professionally communicate extensive product knowledge in both verbal and written form.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage clients regarding their project(s) and assist with decision making process
  • Merchandising the showroom
  • Updating showroom signage such as price tags and table tents (infrequent)
  • Perform other general office work (infrequent)
  • Field incoming phone calls and provide sales support/customer service
  • Provide after-sale customer service

Requirements:

  • Previous luxury retail furniture store or related field experience (2+ years)
  • Incoming phone sales experience
  • Excellent Computer Skills - Efficient Typing, Word, Excel; QuickBooks proficiency is ideal!
  • Experience in visual merchandising
  • Interior design and fashion sense

Showroom Internship

We are currently seeking seasonal help in our showroom assisting both our full-time sales staff/designers and our customers. Responsibilities include fulfilling fabric swatch orders, the creation of inspiration boards, space planning and merchandising. This paid, hourly position is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in the furniture or outdoor design industry and may be used for internship credits if needed.

Other responsibilities based on skills may include client site visits, taking location photography, and updating store signage.

Social Media Specialist

Part-time position with opportunity to grow. Approximately 10 hours a week.

Established luxury outdoor furnishings company is seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Marketing Specialist who is forward-thinking, organized, and a true go getter. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy and engaging with targeted audiences to promote our brand and our products. You must be able to create consistent, meaningful content (written and visual) on all relevant social media platforms, as well as act quickly and gracefully to resolve any customer issues posted on social media (does not happen often).

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy through research, bench-marking, messaging, and audience identification
  • Define most important social media KPIs and measure success of all campaigns
  • Maintain company social media pages and profiles in accordance with brand standards
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share content daily based on editorial calendar
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate promotions and increase reach
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers to create a strong network
  • Moderate user-generated content and messages appropriately, based on company and community policies
  • Build meaningful connections and encourage community members through dialog and messaging
  • Assist with crisis management, bad reviews, and negative news communications

Job requirements and qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in social media and digital marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field

The ideal candidate is creative, dependable and focused, with an exceptional attention to detail. The primary responsibility for this opportunity is to generate new business with commercial and trade accounts in metro Atlanta. A secondary responsibility will be to attend networking events and occasionally hosts similar events. The ideal candidate must a true go getter and be confident in their ability to professionally communicate extensive product knowledge in both verbal and written form.

Compensation for this position is a base salary plus commission. We offer health insurance, a 401k with company match and paid vacation.

Typical Duties include (but not limited to):
