Couristan’s indoor-outdoor performance rugs are made with 100% Courtron™ polypropylene and are mold and mildew-resistant as well as ultraviolet (UV) stabilized for longer color retention. Unlike traditional indoor floor covering products that contain jute in their backing, Couristan’s performance collections also have a 100% Courtron™ polypropylene backing, which makes them completely water-resistant.

We recommend that you purchase a pad to put beneath your area rug. This will keep your area rug from sliding, which can cause premature wear and potential risk of injury. In addition to proper padding it is important to rotate your area rug periodically. Overtime, set traffic paths and/or sunlight patterns can cause fading or uneven wear to an area rug that is not occasionally rotated.

The lack of apparent soiling does not eliminate the need for regular cleaning. Soil can damage the fibers permanently if allowed to remain in the pile for long periods of time. Do not wait until your area rug is soiled, proper vacuuming is the easiest and most effective way to remove everyday dirt and dust. We recommend vacuuming area rugs once a month to keep soil from accumulating. Clean spills immediately by blotting with a cloth or sponge. Remove any grease spots with ordinary dry cleaning solvents.

Couristan provides a one-year limited repair or replacement warranty. Couristan warrants (to the original purchaser) that our area rugs will be free from any material or manufacturing fault or defect which would prevent our area rugs from giving satisfactory service for a period of one-year from the date of delivery to the original seller. This limited warranty does not include the area rug's serging or fringe and specifically excludes any damage to the area rug caused by normal or extraordinary wear and tear, commercial use, improper maintenance or any damage caused by factors not inherent in the area rug at the time of purchase. Material and manufacturing defects will be determined by an Authorized Couristan Inspector.

Returns & Exchanges

With proof of purchase, you may return or exchange an eligible item within 30 days of delivery. All returns must be in original condition and packaging. We cannot accept returns for items that have been opened, assembled, altered, used or made to order. AuthenTEAK does not offer free returns and the customer is responsible for all costs associated with returning merchandise. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. If you choose to exchange an eligible item, a portion of the restocking fee may be waived.

If the order was shipped and/or delivered at no charge—including any free White-Glove promotions—the cost of that shipping and/or delivery service will be deducted from any eligible refunds.

All refunds must include a Return Authorization (RA) number. To obtain an RA number and process your refund, please complete the form below. Refunds are processed within one week of receipt and inspection of merchandise.
