The Jumbo Collection by Pottery Pots offers a generous variety of large planters with XXL dimensions. This large planter is offered in the muted fiberstone black, comes in 1 size and is part of a collection of mega-pots perfect for projects in large spaces such as a spacious garden, a hotel entrance, an office or a public area. The matte and glossy Fiberstone pots, a combination of Fiberglass and 22% finely ground stone, are available in different simple shapes, from low, round bowls to high, square planters. In addition, due to their size, almost all of the pots contain a frame and corner pieces on the inside which give them extra strength.

We feature the in-stock planters in colors of black and white but the items in the Jumbo Collection are also available in the attention-grabbing glossy colors of white, black, red, sand and muted grey. There are a number of finish allowing the Jumbo Collection to offer a gigantic range of possibilities. These planters are frost resistant, however, it is important that they don't stand directly on the ground in the event of frost. Most planters have feet at the bottom, which means they are already off the ground so nothing has to be done during frost conditions. For any planter that does not have feet, we recommend placing them on a shelf or saucer. Furthermore, we recommend keeping the drainage hole in the middle of the each planter free from any kind of soil, so the water can always drain out.

Filling Tip
Make sure that the soil cannot clog the drainage hole. This can be done by laying mesh on the bottom. So the water can run off and there is no risk that the planter breaks or ruptures in frost. Next, fill 1/3 of the planter with Hydro grains. This allows for better water management in the planter so that your plants grow better. Then fill the planter with potting soil. You can choose to sprinkle a layer of Hydro grains on the potting soil. This has a decorative effect and ensures that the top layer of the potting soil will dry out less rapidly.
