Skyline Design Luxury Outdoor Furniture is suitable for year-round outdoor use. Skyline Design materials are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) which offers the right blend of tensile strength and bending properties necessary for weaving. HDPE’s superior weather and chemical resistance makes their furniture suitable for all applications, ideal for outdoor usage, and is weatherproof and UV-resistant.
Aluminum frames are finished with a multistage deluxe powder coat process giving unsurpassed long-lasting quality and resistance to corrosion and/or blistering.
All outdoor cushions are filled with high-grade polyurethane foam which helps maintain shape, comfort, and durability and are covered in Sunbrella® fabric.
Sunbrella® C-FP cushions are a part of Skyline Design's Choice of Fabric Program, allowing. For a minimal upcharge, you will receive the original Sunbrella® fabric skin, as well as a complete cushion in the fabric of your choice from the 50 Sunbrella® fabrics. The cushions are sewn with a premium venting mesh system, reducing the dry time after the cushions have been exposed to rain.
Cushions come standard with Sunbrella Canvas Canvas 5453. If you choose an additional fabric, the item will ship with an additional cushion cover for this chosen fabric.
Regular care and maintenance is required to maintain the warranty. The owner should inspect the product annually. Extra care and maintenance should be taken for items that are installed in locations such as beaches, marine applications, and chlorine or saline environments.
Should a woven item become lightly stained or soiled it may be cleaned by simply using a wet cloth and a mild detergent, rinsed with water and dried thoroughly. It is recommended that the woven frames be occasionally cleaned to avoid the buildup of dirt and mildew.
Aluminum frames are easily maintained, but should still be cared for like any other piece of fine furniture. The frames should be cleaned regularly, with a wet cloth and mild detergent, rinsed with water, and dried thoroughly. For additional protection, a premium quality clear automotive wax may be applied to protect against ultraviolet exposure, salt air, and sea spray.
To keep cushions looking good and delay any deep or vigorous cleaning it is recommended to soak fabric in a solution of 1/4 cup mild soap per gallon of lukewarm water. Next, use a sponge or a soft bristle brush as necessary to remove soil. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue and allow the fabric to air dry completely. Machine wash in cold water (less than 100°F/38°C). To avoid mildew, after excessive water accumulates in cushions, open the cushion zipper and place cushions on the zipper end allowing them to air dry. It is not recommended that the cushion skins be dry cleaned, or machine dried. Bleach or chlorine-based cleaners should not be used on acrylic fabric.
Scope of limited warranty
Skyline Design offers a limited warranty for both residential and commercial installations. Items are warranted to be free from any defect in workmanship or materials of the product. For specific details regarding warranty coverages see the warranty specification sheet. Rights under this limited warranty apply only to the original purchaser and must be pursued only through the authorized dealer from which the products were originally purchased. All warranty coverage begins with the original purchase date. This warranty is non-transferrable and does not apply to floor samples.
Not covered by this warranty is failure caused by abuse, neglect, acts of nature, exposure to extreme temperatures, inappropriate cleaning agents, product which has been modified or altered in any way, freight damage or lack of recommended care and maintenance. Corrosion is a normal occurrence over time when aluminum is exposed to salt air or sea spray and is not covered under this warranty. The colors of products may vary due to unavoidable fiber variation from the suppliers Viro®, Rehau®, Ecolene® Polystrand®, and Batyline®. Such color variations do not mean non-conformity of the products being supplied and are not considered defects under this warranty.
This warranty does not cover ordinary wear-and-tear, furniture or cushions which were not properly specified for the appropriate setting, frames or cushions with mildew that did not receive proper maintenance and cushions with normal loss of foam resiliency. Fabric supplied directly by the customer (C.O.M).
Glass must be treated with care; damage as a result of mishandling is not considered a defect under this warranty.
Skyline Design will repair or replace any part of the product or the entire product if it is defective in material or workmanship, or at our option offer an allowance to retain the item in “as-is” condition. Such choice of repair, replacement, or allowance is at the sole discretion of Skyline Design. An inspection by a sales representative prior to any repairs or replacement may be required. Photographs should be taken of the entire piece along with a close-up of the damage, and included with claim, along with the original proof of purchase (dated sales receipt).
A warranty repair or replacement will be finalized with the dealer who originally purchased the products. If contact with the dealer cannot be made for reasons beyond the purchaser’s control, contact Skyline Design directly to place your claim. A return or repair authorization is necessary to begin your claim.
In the event that the product requiring replacement is no longer available we may replace with a similar item of color or style. Transportation costs on a damaged piece or replacement will be covered to and from the dealer during the warranty period, within the continental United States. Any transportation costs after the warranty expiration are the responsibility of the consumer and/or the dealer.
