The lid is an add-on for the stylish Ember fire pit. The matching lid is made from cast iron and matches both the small and the large Ember fire pit.

Material

Cast iron from Cane-line is composed of alloy of iron, carbon and silicon, which together provide a material particularly suitable for products that require great strength and heat resistance. Therefore, cast iron is an obvious choice for fire pits that are exposed to high temperatures. Continuous maintenance is important, as otherwise over time, you will see rust formation on the surface in the places where the paint has been scratched and worn.

Maintenance & cleaning

Make sure to regularly remove ash from the fire pit, wash it off in clean water and dry it thoroughly when the items are cold. Over time, the surface may become brighter to look at. If rust appears on the surface, clean the product. Remove rust formation with fine sandpaper and give the product a short or a complete refresh with a heat-resistant outdoor spray paint (600 ºC) intended for fire pits and grill items.

Winter Storing

If the product is not used during the winter period, we recommend storing it in a dry room to minimize maintenance.

Important Info

Be aware that the product may leave rust marks on the surface on which it stands. In addition, the product becomes very hot during use, so it may leave marks on the surface on which it stands. The product gets hot during use, so do not touch the product without gloves that can withstand the heat, and be aware of local legislation regarding the use of fire pits. Cane-line offers a 2 year warranty on all frames and 2 years on all fibers, tabletops (excluding glass), against any manufacturing defect, which affects their suitability for use. Parasols, glass tops and accessories including but limited to, cushions, covers are warranted with 1 year. All warranties are from the date of purchase. The warranty applies to normal conditions of use, maintenance and storage and does not apply to faults or imperfections caused by misuse, alterations, accidents, negligence, the passing of time or normal wear and tear. Circumstances not covered by this warranty, but not limited to are, scratches or marks resulting from use, shade of colors, small cracks in fiber concrete tops etc.. The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of those products or parts of products, which Cane-line accepts to be defectively manufactured during the warranty period, at no cost to the customer. Should a product have been discontinued, Cane-line will replace with a similar and comparable product. Original invoice and receipt of purchase with clearly displayed purchase date accompanied with proper photo documentation, is required in order to treat any claim for warranty. Any claim must be submitted through the original reseller.

Cane-line parasols and Pavilions are therefore not warranted against unusual forces of nature like, but not limited, to sudden winds, cloudburst nor to improper handling or use. Cane-line does not recommend using parasols or pavilions in windy weather conditions.
