Prevent soil from obstructing the drainage hole by laying mesh on the bottom and filling the planter ⅓ of the way with hydro grains. Fill the planter with potting soil and, if desired, top it with more hydro grains to preserve moisture.

Description
Authentically replicating the real thing, the Capital Garden Mediterranean 3 vessel looks as if it is centuries old. This vessel includes a metal stand to hold the pot upright, this planter won't stand by itself because it features a rounded bottom. It is, in fact, faithfully duplicated in fiberglass and finished with an antique terra cotta finish. Fiberglass is lightweight, will not crack, and will last season after season without maintenance. Please let us know if you want drainage holes as these vessels are customarily shipped without them. This planter is shown in a Terracotta finish, which is how this planter is stocked for quick shipping. Includes metal stand.
