Description
The Kingsley Bate 11.5' Octagon Replacement Canopy is the perfect way to revitalize your yard decor. By choosing a new color or pattern from the dozens available, you can instantly create a new look without spending a lot on new furnishings. The acrylic material is durable and mildew resistant for easy care. Each canopy is solution-dyed so the color will resist fading for years. This replacement canopy will only fit the Kingsley Bate 11.5 ft. teak umbrella. Important Note: Kingsley Bate made a model change and these replacement canopies do not fit the older models. The old style frame does not have a pulley mechanism. The new style does have a pulley system.

How to Measure Your Patio Umbrella
Open the umbrella so that it is fully extended. Measure the top of your umbrella along one of the rib arms. Use a tape measure to measure from the top center to the outside edge. Multiply that number by two. This will give you correct size of your umbrella to ensure you choose the right replacement canopy. Patio umbrellas are measured by their width and not their height.

Product Protection
Cleaning Umbrella Canopy
Kingsley Bate umbrella canopies are made with either Sunbrella or Outdura fabrics, a 100% solution-dyed acrylic. The fabric should be cleaned regularly before environmental deposits such as dirt, etc., are allowed to accumulate and become embedded. To clean the fabric, simply brush off any loose dirt, and then clean briskly with a sponge using fresh water and a mild natural soap (Woolite is acceptable). Because the umbrella canopies are removable, they may be machine washed on a gentle cycle using cold water and mild soap. Water temperature should be no more than 100 degree F (37 degree C), as acrylic fiber is heat sensitive at high temperatures. Do not subject the fabric to excessive heat as it will shrink. Do not steam press, iron, or dry in electric or gas dryers.
Sunbrella and Outdura Fabrics are treated with a fluorocarbon finish that acts as a sealant, making it resistant to water and stains. If you use liquid detergent instead of a natural soap to clean your cushions, it may be necessary to reapply the water repellent treatment to the fabric. We recommend using 303 Hi Tech Fabric Guard or a similar product.
Avoid putting the fabric in direct contact with oil-based products, which may cause the fabric to age more rapidly. If direct contact with an oil-based product occurs, clean the fabric promptly.
Cleaning Umbrella Frame
The only maintenance necessary for your umbrella is periodic cleaning. First, hose down the frame with fresh water. Avoid spraying the teak with a high pressure hose, as high pressure can erode the surface of the timber. Next, scrub the wet frame using a soft bristle brush and a solution of 2/3 cup laundry detergent and 1/4 cup bleach in 1 gallon of warm water. When finished, rinse the entire piece with more fresh water to remove any remaining cleaning solution. This procedure is sufficient for general cleaning. For more difficult stains we recommend using Kingsley Bate Teak Cleaner. This will remove the silver-gray patina and restore the frame to a golden brown color.

Kingsley Bate furniture comes with a limited warranty against manufacturer’s defects. Standard warranty periods for each category of furniture are provided below. WHAT'S NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY
This warranty does not cover and is void if damage is a result of freight/shipping, a failure caused by unreasonable or abusive use, acts of God, improper care, freeze damage, mildew, normal wear, fading and stretching of fabrics, glass breakage, glides, repairs or modifications to product after purchase, or if the customer fails to provide reasonable and necessary care and maintenance as outlined in instructions.
Teak wood is a natural material. As such, you may notice checking (small cracks), teak oil secretions, and lifting of the grain as the wood weathers outdoors. These are normal occurrences and are not covered by warranty.
Distressed teak furniture is prized for its unique character. Nicks, splits, cracks, knots, and other imperfections in the wood are an inherent part of the furniture design. Finishes are hand applied and some slight color variation is normal. By its nature, distressed teak wood planks may be somewhat uneven and may cup or bow over time due to changes in temperature, or humidity. We believe this only enriches the furniture's distressed appeal and is not covered by warranty.
