The Classic Folding Adirondack Set is constructed of genuine POLYWOOD® lumber, a proprietary blend made from sustainable materials including landfill-bound and ocean-bound plastics. The all-weather lumber is durable and not prone to splinter, crack, chip, peel, or rot. It is built to withstand a range of climates including hot sun, snowy winters, and strong coastal winds.

An optional cushion can be added to the chair's seats for additional comfort. Sewn with performance fabrics, these cushions provide comfort and durability while withstanding nature's elements. Available in an array of colors and patterns to complement any outdoor decor.

POLYWOOD is one of the most well-known producers of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) furniture. All POLYWOOD furniture is made from genuine POLYWOOD® lumber, a proprietary material made using landfill-bound and ocean-bound plastics.

POLYWOOD material is made of HDPE plastic resin that has been purified and UV protected. It is generally cared for and cleaned with soap and warm water. For certain stains and additional cleaning power, a 1/3 bleach and 2/3 water solution can be used on the product without affecting the color. Also, a popular method of cleaning is a high pressure power wash. (Not to exceed 1,500 psi, which is the equivalent of a car wash.) The surface characteristics of the product may require the use of a soft bristle brush to get into the creases.

The hardware used in the assembly and construction of our furniture is an 18-8 commercial grade stainless steel that has an additional Xylan protective and cosmetic coating. Although the quality of the hardware has a high level of corrosive resistance, the hardware can show some sign of corrosion in salt air environments.

A practical solution to these signs of corrosion would be to wash the product with soap and water. Use a soft bristle brush to scrub the corroding areas of the hardware. Also, use appliance touch up paint in the appropriate color to protect the hardware. Appliance touch up paint can be purchased at local hardware stores.

Cushion Care

POLYWOOD's cushions are made using high quality 100% solution-dyed acrylic or acrylic blended Sunbrella fabrics, and the finest outdoor foam and fiberfill. Fabrics have been factory treated to resist stains and mildew. Regular cleaning with mild soap and water using a sponge or soft brush is recommended. To remove mildew stains, use a solution of one cup bleach and one half cup laundry detergent mixed in a gallon of warm water. Apply solution to the seating surface, allow to soak for ten minutes, thoroughly rinse and allow to air dry before using. Cushions will dry at a much faster rate when removed from the frames and placed on their sides or edges.

POLYWOOD® LIMITED RESIDENTIAL WARRANTY
Poly-Wood, LLC (hereinafter "POLYWOOD") warranties to the original purchaser ("Purchaser") that, for a period of twenty (20) years (except as specified below) of residential use from the date of purchase, under normal use and service conditions, POLYWOOD® furniture shall be free from material defects, and shall not splinter, crack, chip, peel, or rot, or suffer structural damage from insect infestation.

METAL FRAMES
Welds and joints are warranted to not break or crack for five (5) years of residential use. Powder coat finish is warranted to not peel for five (5) years of residential use.

HARDWARE
Hardware used in production or assembly of POLYWOOD furniture is warranted to not break for five (5) years of residential use.

WOVEN INSERTS
Woven inserts are warranted to not fail structurally, crack, unravel, fade excessively, or rot for five (5) years of residential use.

SLING FABRIC
Sling fabric is warranted from tears and becoming non-functional because of loss of dimensional stability from exposure conditions including sunlight, mildew, rot and abnormal atmospheric conditions for three (3) years of residential use. Abnormal or excessive discoloration and fading is covered.

CUSHIONS, PILLOWS, & UMBRELLAS
Cushions, pillows, and umbrella canopies are warranted to be free from workmanship or material defects for thirty (30) days from purchase. The fabric on a cushion, pillow, or umbrella canopy is warranted to not tear, mildew, or fade excessively for one (1) year from purchase.
