The Natural Bond Collection by Pottery Pots offers the most common planter models in its simplicity. These planters are offered in muted fiberstone black and come in a simple design that makes them perfect for almost any environment. From home to hotel or office, the Natural Collection will never look out of place. All of the products in the Natural Collection are made of Fiberglass combined with 22% finely ground stone. This composition is also called fiberstone and is low maintenance. The timeless appearance and high quality of the lightweight planters means that they will last for years, both indoors and outdoors.

The black finish in this collection is not UV resistant when exposed to directly sunlight. Our maintenance oil preserves and enhances the dark colored surface and also protects against discoloration and simplifies maintenance. Recommended for use only with Pottery Pots Fiberstone black pots.

These planters are frost resistant, however, it is important that they don't stand directly on the ground in the event of frost. Most planters have feet at the bottom, which means they are already off the ground so nothing has to be done during frost conditions. For any planter that does not have feet, we recommend placing them on a shelf or saucer. Furthermore, we recommend keeping the drainage hole in the middle of the each planter free from any kind of soil, so the water can always drain out.

• Always use mild detergents - never use harsh, chemical detergents. A dry cloth or sponge and some water and soap will be enough
• To preserve the color of the materials, avoid direct sunlight whenever possible. Most products will show discoloration over time.
• For pots placed outside, it is important to drill holes in the bottom, so the excess water can drain and the planter does not break during frost. Some of our pots already contain a drainage hole.
• The black Fiberstone planters from the Natural collection can be treated 2-4x per year with Pottery Pot's special maintenance oil. This oil ensures that the black color is retained.
  

Filling Tip

Make sure that the soil cannot clog the drainage hole.

This can be done by laying mesh on the bottom. So the water can run off and there is no risk that the planter breaks or ruptures in frost. Next, fill 1/3 of the planter with Hydro grains. This allows for better water management in the planter so that your plants grow better. Then fill the planter with potting soil. You can choose to sprinkle a layer of Hydro grains on the potting soil. This has a decorative effect and ensures that the top layer of the potting soil will dry out less rapidly.
