The Cazo 48" GFR Concrete Fire & Water Bowl from The Outdoor Plus is inspired by Spanish-style architecture, making it a warm and inviting addition to your home. Each fire pit is handmade in the USA, and each is made-to-order. Because of this handmade nature, each unit has slight variations in color and texture that make these pieces unique.

The Outdoor Plus' smooth concrete finishes feature a strong, proprietary formula that creates an extremely durable product. Unlike other concrete products on the market, The Outdoor Plus GFR Concrete finishes are colored throughout the entire product, meaning any surface damage that may occur is minimized. Finish upgrades include premium rustic and metallic colorways. Rustic finishes feature a textured, organic-stone look. Metallic finishes mimic the look of anondized finishes and are designed to retain its shine, protect the concrete from harsh UV rays, and withstand outdoor elements.

The 48" Cazo Fire & Water Bowl includes a scupper with a 3/4" inlet and a single spillway that is perfect for cascading into a pool, fountain, or water feature. The fire feature can operate on both natural gas or liquid propane fuel types, burning at a maximum of 160,000 BTUs. The durable 304 stainless steel burners are thoughtfully designed, with a raised, tapered profile that prevents water from entering the gas line. Each burner has multiple drain holes to release any water that may enter through the flame holes. All water bowls come with an easy-flow water fitting that accommodates a 1 1/2" water line. Lava rock is included, or you can upgrade to fireglass.

Products are suggested to be installed by professionals that are locally licensed by the authority that has jurisdiction in gas piping and serviced by those certified by the National Fireplace Institute (NFI) as NFI Gas Specialists.

Cleaning

Inspect the appliance before initial use. Clean the appliance at least annually and have it inspected by a qualified field service person.

Periodically examine the burner. If the burner is dirty, clean it with a soft wire brush. Remove and dirt or deris in this area. This will ensure long life and trouble-free operation.

The easiest way to clean the fire pit is to let it cool completely off. Spray the enclosure with water. Note: Do NOT spray water directly onto the burner and lighter. Wipe clean with a dry cloth.

When not in use and after cooling, cover your fire pit with a full length cover. The cover will help protect your fire pit from detrimental effects of weather and environmental pollutants.

Before placing the cover on the fire pit, make sure the unit is shut off, that the gas lines are disconnected and that the unit has had sufficient time to cool.

More frequent cleaning may be required as necessary. It is imperative the control compartment, burner and circulation air passageways of the appliance be kept clean and free.

Maintenance

Periodically check the hose connecting the propane gas cylinder to ensure it is not cracked or damaged in any way. All natural gas hook-ups should be serviced and inspected only be qualified installers.

Spiders and other insects can nest in the burners and block the gas and airflow to the burner ports. This creates a dangerous condition that can result in a fire from behind the valve panel. Inspect and clean the burners periodically.

Any guard or other protective device removed for servicing the appliance must be replaced prior to operating the appliance.

Inspect the fuel supply for signs of leakage (including the hose for propane models) before each use of the appliance.

Do not repair or replace any part of your fire pit. Have a qualified technician perform all service. Any repairs made by a non-approved service technician will void your warranty.

Storage

When your fire pit is not in use, turn off the gas source.

This appliance can be stored indoors only if it has disconnected from its fuel supply.

Store propane cylinders outdoors in a well-ventilated area out of reach of children. Disconnected cylinders must have threaded valve plugs tightly installed and must not be stored in a building, garage, or any other enclosed area.

To extend the life of your fire pit, protect and voer it from the elements when not in use. Ensure the appliance has ample time to cool off after use and prior to installing storage cover. Damage cause to storage coer due to heat or burns are not covered by warranty.
