Product Protection

Lava Stone Material
Artistic Italian lava stones for tabletops. Handmade with double glazing by skilled craftsmen. Each tile and tabletop is unique and no two look alike. The lava stone is a natural material and small imperfections, such as color and spots, are to be expected and adored. It is the charm of the product. The curing of the paint takes place in high temperature in electric ovens at around 960 grader C. The surface (glaze) and thereby the material is extremely resistant towards both frost and high temperatures, as well as salty water. Furthermore, the color will not change much over time.

Lava Stone Maintenance & Cleaning
The maintenance of the material (tabletop) is easy and requires only a regularly cleaning with a normal detergent/degreaser. Use a cloth with lukewarm water. We recommend carefully cleaning of the table at least 2-3 times a year.

Lava Stone Storing
We recommend covering the tabletop with a furniture cover in fall and winter months for protection. However, please note, that condensation can form under furniture covers, which can cause mold and mildew. Therefore, make sure to lift the cover away from the furniture to ensure proper air circulation and minimize condensation. If possible, it is best to store the table indoors during winter months to shelter it from dirt and weather conditions.

Aluminum Properties
Cane-line offers a wide range of furniture in powder-coated aluminum. Powder coating serves as a protective layer that is tinted in a variety of colors. Aluminum furniture is ideal for use outdoors as well as indoors.

Aluminum Cleaning
Aluminum furniture generally requires a minimum of maintenance. If the furniture is stored near the coast, it will need to be cleaned more frequently using fresh water and soap. Do not be too rough on your furniture to avoid causing dents, as this can damage the powder coating. At worst, moisture can reach the aluminum and damage the finish. Vases, glass and similar items can lead to marks on the surface, if there is moisture under the item for more days. Make sure to keep the surface clean and dry, if things / items are put on the table for several days.

Aluminum Storing
Your furniture can stay outdoors all year round, but it is best to store it under a furniture cover during winter months or during periods when the furniture is not in use. Please note, however, that condensation can form under the furniture cover, which can cause mold and mildew. Warranty

RESIDENTIAL

Cane-line offers a 2 year warranty on all frames and 2 years on all fibers, tabletops (excluding glass), against any manufacturing defect, which affects their suitability for use. Parasols, glass tops and accessories including but limited to, cushions, covers are warranted with 1 year. All warranties are from the date of purchase. The warranty applies to normal conditions of use, maintenance and storage and does not apply to faults or imperfections caused by misuse, alterations, accidents, negligence, the passing of time or normal wear and tear. Circumstances not covered by this warranty, but not limited to are, scratches or marks resulting from use, shade of colors, small cracks in fiber concrete tops etc.. The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of those products or parts of products, which Cane-line accepts to be defectively manufactured during the warranty period, at no cost to the customer. Should a product have been discontinued, Cane-line will replace with a similar and comparable product. Original invoice and receipt of purchase with clearly displayed purchase date accompanied with proper photo documentation, is required in order to treat any claim for warranty. Any claim must be submitted through the original reseller.

Cane-line parasols and Pavilions are therefore not warranted against unusual forces of nature like, but not limited, to sudden winds, cloudburst nor to improper handling or use. Cane-line does not recommend using parasols or pavilions in windy weather conditions.
